If you feel like you've seen Jess's art somewhere, it's probably because you have! Jess's
art has appeared in many publications and on countless apparel, stationary, and tableware products in major retailers across the world. Blending hand-made and digital techniques, Jess's distinctive style is a organic combination of flowing shapes, floral motifs, figurative forms and lush color. Sometimes described as a "weird hybrid of illustration and surface design", her surface design clients love that she approaches projects with the hand-made feel of an Illustrator, and illustration clients love that she brings a strong sense of rhythm and design to illustration assignments.

Jess graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2003 with a BFA in Illustration. While
living in NYC, she worked in the publishing industry as an in-house freelance designer in the children’s book departments at Henry Holt, Scholastic, & HarperCollins. She also worked for several years as a textile designer selling her designs to some of the world’s top manufacturers. After leaving the city for the surreal life of the 'burbs, Jess plunged into illustration as full-time career and has been running her own business ever since. She now works extensively in the publishing, fashion, tableware, and stationary industries creating illustrations and surface designs forclients across the world. Clients and licensees love her keen eye for trend, cohesive design collections, and fresh color palettes.

Besides creating art, Jess enjoys green tea, chocolate, podcasts, new music, puzzles, all things science fiction, and (most of all) spending time with her family.
A native of Connecticut, Jess currently resides in New Jersey with her husband (who is also an illustrator) and their two ridiculously adorable children.
