If you feel like you've seen Jess's art somewhere, it's probably because you have! Jess's
art has appeared in many publications and on countless apparel, stationary, and tableware products. Blending hand-made and digital techniques, Jess's signature style is a organic combination of flowing shapes, floral motifs, figurative forms and lush color.
Jess graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2003 with a BFA in Illustration. While living in NYC, she worked in the publishing industry as an in-house freelance designer
at Henry Holt, Scholastic, & HarperCollins. She also worked for several years as a textile designer. After leaving the city for the surreal life of the 'burbs, Jess plunged into illustration as a full-time career and has never looked back. She now works extensively in the publishing, fashion, advertising, and paper products industries creating illustrations and surface designs for clients across the world. Clients and licensees love her keen eye for trend (especially in the tween market), cohesive design collections, and fresh color palettes.
Besides creating art, Jess enjoys green tea, chocolate, pop culture, podcasts, puzzles, and all things science fiction.
A native of Connecticut, Jess currently resides in New Jersey with her husband (who is also an artist) and two beautiful children.
